 Rev. John Moreland will assist you in creating a ceremony that is uniquely special for you. It can be as traditional or as informal as you wish. You can choose to create a ceremony that honors your specific spiritual beliefs or one that is more secular in nature. Rev. John is not limited to performing ceremonies at Light on the Mountains Spiritual Center. He can help you choose from several popular settings in the Sun Valley area.
Rev. John has been the Community Spiritual Leader of Light on the Mountains Spiritual Center since April of 2002. He is originally from Los Angeles, California, his home for most of his life before coming to Idaho. Rev. John has an active ministry in the Wood River Valley that includes his service to the congregation at Light on the Mountains, involvement in the chaplaincy program at the local hospital, spiritual counseling, and the facilitation of classes and workshops.
Rev. John received his Masters of Divinity from the Holmes Institute in 2000 after having earned Bachelor of Art degrees in both Graphic Design and Music from California State University Northridge. He was ordained in 2004 after serving as a liscentiate minister for four years.
